Maritime Skills Workshop - Oban

This workshop is a taster session for our Maritime Skills course starting this January.

Curious about life at sea or looking to build practical maritime skills? Join us at our Oban centre for a hands-on taster session ahead of our upcoming course. Whether you're a complete beginner or want to brush up on your knowledge, this is a great chance to meet instructors, try out equipment, and explore training pathways.

Drop in anytime between 2pm–5pm to take part in interactive demos and skill stations, including:

• Knot tying and splicing
• Outboard engine servicing
• Rigging a bosuns chair and painting stage
• A look at the safety, electronics, engine and control systems of a vessel
• A look at what’s in a life raft
• RYA qualifications

Come along, have a go, ask questions, and see if the January course is right for you.
