UHI is one of only 8 universities in Scotland to provide teacher training.
If you already have a degree and are looking to move into either Primary or Secondary teaching based in Argyll & Bute, the Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) - a 9 month postgraduate programme, may be of interest to you.
Led by Lecturers Susie and Morag this session will cover:
- An overview of the PGDE programmes available at UHI (full-time Primary and Secondary programmes, available in both English and Gaelic-medium; part-time Primary and Secondary programmes, available in English-medium)
- Entry criteria required
- Programme structure
- What a typical week could look like
- Information on placements
- Application and selection process
There will also be plenty of time to ask questions on the night if there's anything else you'd like to find out. Or you can let us know your questions in advance when registering for the event.
Book your place today so you don't miss out on this very popular session!
