Learn achieve and advance with Argyll College UHI

Argyll College UHI is proud to be an academic partner of Scotland's new university, The University of the Highlands and Islands. We provide a range of courses over a wide range of subjects and deliver these at local centres in Argyll.

Welcome to Argyll College UHI

More than 1600 students have passed through the doors of Argyll College UHI during 2016, and more students than ever are choosing to study at one of our many learning centres spanning the length and breadth of Argyll.

Argyll College UHI has seen many new developments as we continue to redesign our curriculum to ensure we best serve the needs of Argyll’s Coastal Communities.  NC Social Sciences and HNC Applied Sciences are just two examples of new courses which offer students a strong platform from which to progress, and this year our HNC Agriculture has attracted a number of students from outwith Argyll to come and study with the University of the Highlands and Islands.

As a college we continue to invest in the kinds of things which make a material difference to our students’ experience: redevelopment of our Oban and Campbeltown Campuses to provide more classroom and study space; provision of laptops to allow more flexible learning spaces; and working in partnership to upgrade broadband access in our learning centres, which is so critical to our methods of teaching and learning.

Vital to the quality of your student experience are the teaching and centre staff who consistently provide a level of learning support and pastoral care that surpasses that of many larger colleges and universities.

We put students at the heart of what we do and we welcome you to join us in 2017.
