UHI Argyll is looking to recruit a new Principal and Chief Executive to lead the college through the next phase of our development. We are a small, rural, dispersed college and a partner in the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI), delivering both further and higher education.

The successful applicant will work closely with the college board of management to implement the college’s strategic aims, and you will engage with UHI partners to develop and deliver meaningful change in the partnership’s tertiary delivery model, to improve our students’ experience and deliver stronger integration of services across the region.

You will lead a senior team of professional managers to ensure effective delivery of the college’s departmental functions, and you will be responsible for and oversee all student outcomes.

If you have a strong record of success in senior management or leadership roles in; corporate finance, human resources/organisational development, information technologies or policy development, then we would be pleased to hear from you for an initial discussion about your potential suitability for the role. Senior leadership experience working in the Scottish college sector is highly advantageous, but not essential.
