Apprenticeship/SVQ Assessor in Social Services: Children and Young People

We are recruiting for a 0.5 FTE (17.5 hours per week) assessor for SVQ Social Services: Children and Young People.
Assessor duties include building good working relationships with the candidates and the candidate’s employer, observing the candidate within their workplace, collating and recording the evidence gathered within the college e-portfolio system, providing constructive feedback to the candidate and their employer and ensuring there is sufficient evidence gathered to meet awarding body requirements.
Applicants should hold an HNC, SVQ at SCQF Level 7 or equivalent in Social Services: Children and Young People or equivalent and have relevant experience and occupational competency within the industry.
Ideally, you will hold an Assessor qualification (A1 or equivalent) or be willing to complete it within the first year of employment.
Travel within Argyll will be necessary; a driving licence is an essential requirement.
