STARTING SOON!

CHILDCARE AND MEN IN PRACTICE (CHAMP) - FREE COURSE STARTING SOON!

We have a FREE evening course in childcare for men, starting Tuesday 26th at Argyll College.  The course is taught by video conferencing and is a men-only course.  The Scottish Government recognises the need to diversify the early years workforce in order to ensure that children have access to positive male role models from an early age.  The course is made up of 4 SCQF level 6 units and could lead to a place on the HNC Childhood Practice in September, upon successful completion of this evening course.

The class will run on Tuesdays from 6pm - 9pm for 11 weeks.  There are no formal entry requirements for this course, though applicants should have a keen interest in pursuing a career in childcare.

For further information, please contact Lia McLeod or Angela Smith on 01700 501000 or acrothesay@uhi.ac.uk ASAP.
