Construction, Engineering and Renewables
Our Construction, Engineering and Renewables Centre (CERC) is based within the Kilmory Industrial Estate in Lochgilphead, PA31 8RR.
This purpose-built centre boasts large, state-of-the-art woodworking and engineering workshops as well as two other general practical project areas. It also has two classroom teaching rooms, one of which contains drafting desks while the other has computers and video conference facilities.
As well as providing practical training in engineering and a range of construction trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and roofing, the centre also runs certificated short courses in practical skills such as dry stone walling and ceramics.
Community groups and private organisations/individuals can hire space within the centre, subject to availability. There is a discount for registered charities.
