What is special about this course?

Much of your learning will be in a real or realistic work-setting and you will be undertaking practical tasks in an outdoor environment although there will also be some theoretical classroom sessions.

You will undertake an investigation of a rural business, examining how it is run, how it fits in with the local community and how the business could diversify into other areas.

Entry requirements

Ideally you will already have National 4 Rural Skills (Skills for Work) and will be expected to have a keen interest in gardening and horticulture.
