Italian - Beginners
Monday evenings 7pm - 9pm
Running from 13th Feb for 10 weeks, ending on 24th April (holiday on Easter Monday)
This short taster course is designed to allow complete beginners to speak basic Italian confidently. You will learn basic pronunciation, numeracy and how to introduce yourself. You will be able to speak about your family, order food and drink at a restaurant and ask for directions.
The conversations you undertake in Italian are the same conversations that you use in everyday life. How great will it be to confidently order a meal in Italian, have a chat in the piazza over a cappuccino or hail a taxi to go to the opera?
So whether you're planning a trip to the beautiful Tuscan towns or the charming canals of Venice, this course is a great place to start.

Who's leading this class? Chris has taught Italian with us since 2007 and is immensely popular with her students. Having lived and worked in Italy she has a passion for the language and Italian culture.
What experience should you already have to do this course? No experience is required for this taster class but a love of Italy, its culture, music and people will help!
How is the course delivered? The course is delivered online with students joining a video call.
Study Mode: Our online courses are easily accessible by computer, laptop, iPad or tablet through Microsoft Teams.
