This full time course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to progress into Higher Education and could lead to a place at college or university, including BSc Nursing with the University of the Highlands and Islands.

There is also a wider access entry route (SWAP) available for those who have been out of formal education for 3 years or more.

What is SWAP?

Access to Nursing is part of the Scottish Widening Access Programme (SWAP) and is specifically for people who have been out of formal education for at least 3 years (see Entry Requirements for more details). It prepares adult returners for entry into Higher Education and can lead to a place at college or university.

For more information on the SWAP programme, please visit their website at http://www.scottishwideraccess.org
