We are recruiting a 0.4 FTE Student Services Administrator to join the Student Services team.  The key tasks will include:

  • Assisting students with funding applications (Bursary, EMA, SAAS),
  • Screening and uploading student financial evidence to the online systems,
  • Supporting centre staff with information regarding student funding
  • Tracking attendance for funding purposes
  • Assisting with the SAAS Part Time Fee Grant process

Bursary funding can be a stressful time for students so the successful applicant must have excellent people skills and communication skills to be able to help them through the application process.  They must also be able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure and have very good IT skills. 

The post would be best located in one of the busier centres to maximise the opportunity to work face to face with students (social distancing permitting) but a lot of the work will be carried out remotely via phone, email and other online systems.
