Further Education Student of the Year 2018
Islay student, John MacPhee was named as 2018 Further Education Student of the Year. John completed an NC in Computing with Digital Media. His attendance was excellent and he gave everything to each and every task that was presented to him.

Higher Education Student of the Year 2017

The 2017 Higher Education Student of the Year was Wendy Chance from Islay who has successfully completed an HNC in Horticulture this year. Wendy has shown an extraordinary talent for the subject and despite being the only student from Islay participating in the course, she didn’t let isolation affect her studies.

NC Business - Sarah Mottram
Sarah Mottram was named Further Education Student of the Year. Sarah was unable to attend the Oban Ceremony so Mairi MacCuaig, the centre manager, presented her with her Award at the Argyll College Islay centre on Thursday 6th October.
