ESOL Work and Study-related Contexts Intermediate 2 (SCQF Level 5)

What is special about this course?

This unit includes the development of the English language to enable the candidate to understand, and communicate reasonably fluently in English. The skills developed will enable the candidate to interact in the English language medium in a variety of personal and social contexts.

Entry requirements

At the discretion of the college.

Candidates would normally be expected to have attained the ESOL units at SCQF Level 4 or equivalent

This unit aims to develop skills and the candidate will learn to:

  • communicate orally in English for work purposes
  • produce written English for work purposes
  • demonstrate an understanding of spoken English in work-related contexts
  • demonstrate an understanding of written English in work-related contexts

How will I study my course?

  • Part Time

You will be given learning materials by your tutor.

You will carry out exercises as requested by your tutor during the class sessions.

 


How long will my course last?


60 Hour

This double credit course is delivered over 60 hours, 30 hours per unit
