This National Certificate Award is designed to provide candidates with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to equip them for entry to employment in a junior role or for progression to further academic and/or professional qualifications.

NC Beauty Care and MakeUp Level 5

This National Certificate Group Award is not designed to train individuals to full industrial competence. Rather it will place an emphasis on developing the basic skills and knowledge required to engage in the next stages of acquisition of those skills and knowledge which will be attractive to future employers both within and outwith the Beauty industry. This will enable candidates to develop a greater understanding of terminology, safety, working practices, research methods, personal skills, commercial targets and strategic industry objectives.
